Mystery Yarn Band
Do you have a mystery stash you’d like to tame? You can stop worrying if you grabbed the right yarn and get back to crafting with confidence! I’ve made four pages of replacement bands for you to use to label what you know about those naked skeins, hanks, yarn cakes, and roving. They come in four colors; blue, red, green, and black. If you want different colors, you can ask!

USE:
I recommend that you print the bands on card stock or glossy paper for a professional look. If you don't have any on hand, regular paper will work nicely, too, but will be fragile.
Yarn bands: Cut straight across the grey lines. Fill out any information for the individual skein, wrap the band in place overlapping with the skein info on top; tape in place.
Tags: Cut carefully around the shape of the tags and punch a hole through the circle with a hole punch or pierce with a darning needle. Thread scrap yarn or string through the hole and knot on itself. Attach to your yarn by laying the yarn loop over your yarn and threading the tag through the loop.

Custom Yarn Bands and Tags
Dress up your handspun yarn, hand dyed yarn, or hand spinning fiber with your very own custom yarn label! It'll impress your friends and give your small business that professional feel.
Send me your image file and information (see form below); I will adjust highlight colors (currently blue) to match with your image. I will send you a proof*; once you approve it I will deliver your high-resolution pdf printable pages via Etsy conversations. I will also send you a license agreement that allows you to print as many times as you wish!
Please note that this is a label design service, not logo design. If you don't have a logo, I am happy to insert one of my yarn ball graphics for you.
*A proof is a low-quality version of the work in progress that will have my watermarks on it. Your final file will be crystal clear and free of any watermarks!

Design Levels
Please think carefully about what you want done for your bands and choose the appropriate level. I am happy to help you make whatever changes you need but my time has value. If you are not sure which level of support you need, please ask and I can steer you in the right direction. If you add additional design tweaks after we have started I may need ask you to pay for the next level to cover the additional time.1) BASIC LABEL DESIGN: $7.50 for up to 2 templates
I have created a clean, beautiful, and informative design template to use to make your labels time efficient and therefore cost effective. If you know what you want, just plug in your answers into my template in the note at check out. At this level there are no changes beyond plugging in your personal information! I'll get your design done as quickly as possible, usually within a couple of hours of ordering.
Estimate of up to 30 minutes of design time.
2) MODIFIED LAYOUT: $15 for up to 2 templates
If you want a different layout make a doodle on paper and take a picture; send it to me via Etsy Conversations. I'll take a look at it and see if I can make the changes you desire. This includes little tweaks, altering info text, or changing to a specified font. If your changes are small you can purchase the "Modified Layout" option and I'll get your updated layout to you as soon as I can.
3) DESIGN CONSULTATION / CUSTOM ORDER: $30 minimum deposit
If you would like some major changes, or if you are not sure what you want I will help you through the process. We can make an appointment for when we are both available with low distractions for two hours of consultation and design time.
If you need more time, I charge an additional $15 per hour. This includes all my time working on your order; consultation, any research, and design time. The amount of time will vary depending on how much assistance you need. I will be as efficient as possible, but know that seemingly small tweaks often take more time to perfect than people estimate. ( i.e. Searching for a font style that is described, but not specifically named, and replacing it into the template can take 45 minutes.) I will keep you updated on your time usage throughout our communications.
Please be aware that I have a young children and their needs come first; I may have to schedule a second appointment, picking up where we left off.
Estimate of up to 2 hours of consultation and design time. Any additional time must be paid for before final PDFs will be sent.

- Template: Choose which template you'd like me to work with to create your labels, A,B,C,D OR E. *If you are ordering Basic or Modified design levels, I will customize one or two printable pages for you at the listed price. Additional pages are an additional $2 per page when added to the order. Please make this kind of order via "custom order" so I can adjust your price correctly.
- Name: This is usually your business name. However if your logo already has the name we can make this the artist's name, or we can drop it entirely; I don't charge extra for this.
- Logo Image: When you place an order, you guarantee that you have rights to the content and grant me permission to use them for your order. I will not work with someone's copyrighted material without their permission.
- Color of accented text: I typically put email & website info in a color to coordinate with your logo. If there is no obvious color to match, or you leave this info blank, I will make it black.
- Yarn Ball Color: If you do not have an image / logo that you want to use, you can use one of my yarn ball images. Let me know your color preference.
